How is taking test different from taking Pop Quiz?
The main difference is - tests are Pre created by the person who contributed it. The test always show same set of questions. All site users can take any test. But Pop Quiz is generated when you ask for it, and only you can take that particular generated pop quiz. You can specify the question selections criteria, number of questions. markings and duration. E.g. if you want to take a pop quiz for AIEEE, you can generate a Pop Quiz by specifying 20 questions from Maths and Physics from the AIEEE exam.
Another difference between taking Test and Pop Quiz is that you can pause and resume the Test any number of times, but you cannot pause a Pop Quiz. Although you can take a generated Pop Quiz any number of times.
How are the marks calculated?
Each test can have different marking methods. Generally tests have 3 marks for the correct answer and -1 for the incorrect, if it has negative marking. E.g. Tests on this site have multiple choice questions, and for correct selection of choice you get full marks for that question (usually 3) and for any incorrect selection of choice (even if you have correct choice also selected) 1 mark will be deducted.
How can I access my previously taken tests?
All the tests you take are accessible to you on the Test History page. You can keep them as long as you wish, or delete them.
Will others see the test I take?
It depends on your sharing preference, if you have test sharing turned ON in your profile (default is ON), then all tests you take which you have marked as shared will be visible to others.
Where can I see my Rank?
Rank is shown on a test by test basis. So for each test you can view the ranking by clicking

What is CBT product?
CBT (Computer Based Testing) is the first of the series of products offered by EduBrite for conducting examinations for a given set of candidates by educational institutions, coaching centers and corporates for the purpose of pre-screening (pre-enrollment of students or employees) or any regular ongoing assessment (current students or employees)
We conduct tests using the traditional paper pencil / OMR approach. What benefits would it provide?
Besides saving time, money and lot of other miscellaneous activities that are part of a regular examination (like notifying candidates, declaring results), you would effectively hand over the entire exam conduction process from start to finish to the EduBrite CBT product. It would help you to conduct an examination accurately, across a wide geographic region and declare the result on time in an effective manner
Wont our cost increase if we go for CBT?
Our experience shows that the total cost per candidate would most likely go down when you take into consideration the cost involved in doing all the peripheral works in addition to the real exam conduction in a paper pencil based exam
We do not have much computer/IT facility at our place. Can we still use the product?
Absolutely. EduBrite's CBT product is SaaS (Software as a Service) based, which ensures that there is no need to deploy or maintain any software at your end. All new features and upgrades happen automatically. This ensures there is no cost overhead of maintaining any hardware or software
What software/hardware required at our end to use CBT? Any other minimum requirement which needs to be fulfilled?
For uploading tests and creating exams, a normal PC (Windows/Linux/Mac) connected to the internet is all what is required. Similarly the candidates who appear in the exam would also require a similar facility either in a proctored or non proctored environment
For which subjects can we use CBT? Is there any restriction?
There is absolutely no restriction. As long as you have subject matter expertise to create a test, you would be able to conduct an exam
Would we get a private region to conduct the exam or is it shared with others?
Yes, every customer of CBT product gets their own private region (microsite) to conduct an exam in most secure and reliable fashion. We take extreme measure to ensure that data of every customer is secure
Test contents are our IP. Would they remain secure if we start using EduBrite's CBT product?
We at EduBrite give a great deal of importance to Intellectual Property rights of the contents that are uploaded in our products. We have taken innumerable steps to ensure that data uploaded by one customer remains with that customer only and is not accessible by any other customer in any form. Data is hosted in a secure 24x7 video monitored data center and delivered to students while taking an exam in a secure flash based widget
What test formats are supported? We have objective, subjective and matching test patterns. Can we still use CBT?
Yes absolutely. We offer multiple test formats including objective, subjective, matching test patterns and more
Our test contents are currently available as hard copies. Can we still use EduBrite's product?
There are multiple ways of uploading tests into the CBT product. EduBrite support team can advise you about ways to convert the tests from hard copies to appropriate soft format
Who would upload tests into the system? Can we do it ourselves or would it require EduBrite support's help?
Test upload can easily be done by the customer themselves. In case any help is required, EduBrite support team is always there
Do the candidates for an exam need to be geographically located at the same place or can they take an exam from any place simultaneously?
As long as a candidate has an access to a PC with internet connection, he can take an exam from any geographic location. There is no need for the candidate to come to the customer's physical premise
Who provides proctoring for an exam?
Customer would have to choose the proctoring agency in case that is required. Otherwise an un-proctored exam can always be conducted
Can we use the product to conduct our college/universities entrance examination?
Yes, any exam can be conducted using EduBrite's CBT product. There is absolutely no restriction on that
When would we get the result of the exam once an exam is over?
You would specify that while setting up the exam. The system would generate the result at the time specified during exam set up.
In what format do we get the result?
Multiple reports (from basic to detailed) are generated by the system in both .pdf and .xls allowing you to print and view data from multiple perspectives
Who would communicate the result to the candidates?
Exam coordinator would get all necessary reports from the system. The coordinator can then decide when, how and how much to communicate to the candidates
What is the pricing structure? Any option to reduce the price?
There are multiple pricing slabs available each tailored to suit the need of a particular customer. EduBrite sales team would be happy to understand your need and discuss with you about the pricing structures
